The Nike Air Max has always been a cornerstone sneaker, and it’s renditions are some of the most iconic in all of sneaker lore. This year’s Air Max has some striking similarities to the Air Max 09, with a visible air bubble that goes throughout the whole sole and what appears to be flywire on the upper near the swoosh. This upcoming model utilizes plastic on the heel and not on the toe, while the 09 reverses that order. The flywire in the 09 model has a crossed pattern, while the Air max 2010 model opts for a vertical stripe approach. The shoe most likely will still have the stability managing sole unit since this was a staple in the shoe’s design.
The runner’s favorite accomplice has received a breath of fresh Air. The Nike Air Max Tailwind 2010 features a full length air bubble, breathable mesh/suede upper, and all the specifics that made the Tailwind a fan favorite over the years. It’s a new age for Nike Air Maxes, which means revamped shoes to fit the image of the coming years. The Nike Air Max Tailwind 2010 does just that, with a clean grey/neon colorway to excite sneakerheads and runners alike. This shoe differs vastly from the Nike Air Max Tailwind in aesthetics and technology. The upper is made of light mesh, rubber, and leather, while the white midsole features plenty of Air Max bubble units for your pleasure. The neon outsole matches the neon accents throughout the shoe and the Nike print on the tongue tag. “Air Max” is printed on the sides of both shoes and the swoosh is blacked out cleanin’ up this runner shoe. The Nike Air Max Tailwind 2010 design so unique, what are you waiting for?
